Volunteer Opportunities

Welcome!

Thank you for your interest in becoming a school volunteer. Your time is valuable and is such a tremendous gift to our students. We are grateful for your willingness to lend us your talent and energy. School volunteering is also richly rewarding.

Pullman Schools welcome community members to serve in a variety of volunteer roles. Some examples are: serving as general classroom assistants, chaperoning field trips, and tutoring or mentoring students. Take-home tasks or helping with after-school events and clubs are opportunities available to community members who are unable to volunteer during the school day.

All volunteers are required to complete the online volunteer application prior to beginning service. The application permits a criminal history review through the Washington State Patrol. Once the background check has cleared and the application has been approved, the volunteer will receive written communication via email that they are eligible to be placed in service with the schools.
