NOTICE: Updates to July Board Meeting Schedule (5.27.2021)

There have been some changes to the Regular Board Meetings scheduled in July 2021:

  • July 21, 2021  - The Regular Board Meeting has been moved to July 28, 2021 to align with the 4th Wednesday of the month. 

NOTICE: Public Hearing for 2021-2022 Budget

August 11, 2021 Regular Board Meeting - 6:30pm

NOTICE OF MEETING TO ADOPT THE 2021-22 BUDGET AND CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING is hereby given, pursuant to RCW 28A.505.050 and RCW 28A.505.060, that the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Pullman School District No. 267, Whitman County, Washington will hold a regular meeting on August 11, 2021, commencing at 6:30 p.m. in the Pullman High School Community Room, 510 NW Greyhound Way, Pullman, Washington, for the purpose of fixing and adopting the budget of the District for the ensuing 2021-2022 fiscal year.  Prior to adoption of the 2021-2022 Budget, the Board will hold a hearing for the purpose of receiving comments from the public on the 2021-2022 budget. 

DUE TO THE GLOBAL PANDEMIC, COVID-19, AND PER PROCLAMATION BY THE GOVERNOR AMENDING PROCLAMATION 20-05, 20-28 Open Public Meetings Act and Public Records Act, the Board will hold the hearing virtually.  Any person may appear at the virtual hearing and be heard for or against any part of the 2021-2022 budget, the four-year budget plan, or any proposed changes to uses of enrichment funding under RCW 28A.505.240.  Public comments should be sent to Board@psd267.org

Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board will fix and determine the appropriation from each fund contained in the 2021-2022 budget and shall, by resolution, adopt the 2021-2022 budget, the four-year budget plan summary, and the four-year enrollment projection.  The completed budget is on file at the District Finance Office located at Pioneer Center, 240 SE Dexter, Pullman, Washington.  A copy of the budget will be furnished to any person who is interested.

TO SPEAK DURING THE VISITORS SECTION AT A REGULAR SCHOOL BOARD MEETING:

If you would like to attend a regularly scheduled Pullman Public Schools Virtual Board Meeting to engage with the board during the visitors section, please register to attend by completing the Register to Attend A Pullman Public Schools Virtual School Board Meeting form. You will receive Zoom log-in information approximately 60 minutes prior to the start of the meeting to access the virtual meeting. Citizens wishing to speak will wait for their name to be called and will be unmuted by the Zoom Moderator. Citizens will state their name and address before beginning comments to the Board. The board will listen, and may offer clarification, but will not discuss the topic at this time. The board may consider moving the topic presented to a future meeting date as a discussion item. Please keep your comments civil and respectful, and limit your remarks to 3 minutes. No formal action will be taken on comments at this time.

The School Board does not receive public comment during Special Board Meetings. Should you wish to share comments with the School Board, please e-mail Board@psd267.org.
