Family Communications

Texting Opt-In

Keeping our families up-to-date with all school and district information is of the utmost importance to our district! We understand, especially with the COVID-19 pandemic, that this can be overwhelming. We try to limit our district communications as much as possible. District and school-specific communications are sent out using one or more of these communication methods:

EMAIL

Every Friday an email is sent out at 5 pm to families with important school and district updates. If you do not want to receive phone calls, please login to Skyward Family Access and select Skylert to manage your notification preferences. The directions for Skylert are in the document container below. You may also receive emails via our automated broadcast system (School Messenger).

PHONE

You may receive calls regarding student absences, school closures or delays, school emergencies and reminders for scheduled closures. These calls are sent out using our School Messenger automated broadcast system. If you do not want to receive phone calls, please login to Skyward Family Access and select Skylert to manage your notification preferences. The directions for Skylert are in the document container below.

TEXT

To receive text messages through our automated broadcast system, School Messenger, you must opt-in. To opt-in, text the word 'YES' to 67587. Please keep in the mind that text messages are limited in characters and will not contain a lot of information. Normally text messages will tell you the reason for the message and then direct you to contact the school or view your email for more details. The directions for text messaging are in the document container below.

NEWSLETTERS

Once a month, a newsletter from the Superintendent is released. You can view these newsletters here.
