Italian American Heritage Month

ITALIAN AMERICAN HERITAGE MONTH
Through the month of October, we recognize the contributions and achievements of Italian-Americans and embracing Italian heritage and culture.

Italian-American Heritage Month, first celebrated in 1989 through a proclamation by the United States Congress and President George H. W. Bush, is commemorated every October to honor the significant contributions and achievements of Italian immigrants and Italian-Americans. Today, they constitute the fifth largest ethnic group in the United States.
