2024-2025 Pullman School District Final Audit Report
The Washington State Auditor's Office has released the 2024-2025 Final State Audit Report for Pullman School District. The audit report provides an independent review of the District’s financial statements and federal programs for the period September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2025.
Based on the State Auditor’s risk assessment for the year that ended August 31, 2025, the areas examined were those representing the highest risk of fraud, loss, abuse, or noncompliance.
The following areas were examined during this audit period:
- Associated Student Body activities at high school – cash receipting
- Payroll – leave balances and accruals
- Tracking and monitoring of theft sensitive assets such as fuel
- Treasury activities – bank reconciliations and monitoring of bank activity
- Finance condition – reviewing for indications of financial distress
- Use of restricted funds – professional learning and local revenue for enrichment activities
- Compliance with supplemental contracts for enrichment activities
- Open public meetings – compliance with minutes, meetings and executive session requirements
