Cultural Awareness & Recognitions - Native American Heritage Month

Native American & Indigenous Heritage Month

Each November, we commemorate National Native American Heritage Month—a time dedicated to honoring the traditions, languages, and stories of Native American, Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian, and affiliated indigenous communities. It's an opportunity to ensure that their profound histories and contributions flourish for generations to come. Throughout November and year-round, we celebrate the vibrant culture and heritage of these extraordinary Americans, whose diversity enriches our nation's tapestry. As we embrace the remarkable diversity of American Indian and Alaska Native cultures in Indian Country, we also pay tribute to our veterans who have courageously defended our nation.
