The Pullman School District is pleased to announce that Elizabeth Pavlik has been recommended for hire as the next Principal of Franklin Elementary School, starting July 1, 2025. Ms. Pavlik was most recently serving as a Principal at Hendricks Public School in Hendricks, Minnesota and was selected after an extensive and thorough selection process. The recommendation for Ms. Pavlik's appointment will be presented to the Pullman School District Board of Directors at their meeting on June 11, 2025. We are pleased with the strong applicant pool that was interviewed and are confident that we have recommended an excellent administrator for Franklin Elementary.

The Pullman School District is pleased to announce that Cheyenne Webber has been recommended for hire as the next Principal of Kamiak Elementary School, starting July 1, 2025. Ms. Webber currently serves in our district as the Assistant Principal for both Jefferson and Kamiak Elementary Schools and was selected following an extensive and thorough selection process. The recommendation for Ms. Webber's appointment will be presented to the Pullman School District Board of Directors at their meeting on June 11, 2025. We are pleased with the strong applicant pool that was interviewed and are confident that we have recommended an excellent administrator for Kamiak Elementary.

Ryan Mulvey, who is currently serving as the Principal at West Valley High School, was selected through a rigorous process from a pool of highly qualified candidates to be recommended for hire as Assistant Superintendent of Pullman Public Schools beginning on July 1, 2025. The recommendation to appoint Mr. Mulvey to the position of Assistant Superintendent was approved by the Board of Directors during the regular board meeting scheduled for May 28, 2025.

Evan Hecker, who currently serves as the Principal at Kamiak Elementary School, was selected through an interview process to be recommended for hire as Pullman High School Assistant Principal/Athletics & Activities Director beginning on July 1, 2025. The recommendation to appoint Mr. Hecker to the position of Pullman High School Assistant Principal/Athletics & Activities Director was approved by the Board of Directors during the regular board meeting scheduled for May 28, 2025.

For years, the State Board of Education (SBE), Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) and the Educational Opportunity Gap Oversight and Accountability Committee (EOGOAC) have collaborated on the Washington School Recognition Program honoring K–12 public schools across the state for closing opportunity gaps and for students’ growth and academic achievement.

At the April 30, 2025 Regular Board Meeting, the Kamiak Elementary Fifth Grade Team was presented with the 2025 Dedicated Teaching Team Recognition Award by the Pullman Public Schools Board of Directors.

The Pullman School District is pleased to announce that Jerrod Fleury has been recommended for hire as the next Principal of Pullman High School, starting July 1, 2025.
