Public Notice: 2020-2021 Budget Hearing

NOTICE OF MEETING TO ADOPT THE 2020-21 BUDGET AND CONDUCT A PUBLIC HEARING is hereby given, pursuant to RCW 28A.505.050 and RCW 28A.505.060, that the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Pullman School District No. 267, Whitman County, Washington will hold a regular meeting on August 12, 2020, commencing at 6:30 p.m. in the Pullman High School Community Room, 510 NW Greyhound Way, Pullman, Washington, for the purpose of fixing and adopting the budget of the District for the ensuing 2020-2021 fiscal year.  Prior to adoption of the 2020-2021 Budget, the Board will hold a hearing for the purpose of receiving comments from the public on the 2020-2021 budget.  DUE TO THE GLOBAL PANDEMIC, COVID-19, AND PER PROCLAMATION BY THE GOVERNOR AMENDING PROCLAMATION 20-05, 20-28 Open Public Meetings Act and Public Records Act, the Board will hold the hearing virtually.  Any person may appear at the virtual hearing and be heard for or against any part of the 2020-2021 budget, the four-year budget plan, or any proposed changes to uses of enrichment funding under RCW 28A.505.240.  Public comments should be sent to Board@psd267.org.  If interested in speaking at the public hearing, or to find information on attending the virtual school board meeting, refer to the district website board schedule at https://www.pullmanschools.org/apps/pages/index.jsp?uREC_ID=458123&type=d&pREC_ID=998075.  Upon conclusion of the hearing, the Board will fix and determine the appropriation from each fund contained in the 2020-2021 budget and shall, by resolution, adopt the 2020-2021 budget, the four-year budget plan summary, and the four-year enrollment projection.  The completed budget is on file at the District Finance Office located at Pioneer Center, 240 SE Dexter, Pullman, Washington.  A copy of the budget will be furnished to any person who is interested.
